Bangkok Youth Opera was formed in 2017 by Opera Singer ,Teacher and Producer Stefan Paul Sanchez. Already we have performed Mozart’s Magic Flute and Lionel Bart’s Oliver at Chom Dong Villas in Hua Hin as well as sold out a concert at Fortune Mall Concert Hall. The company is formed from voice students of Stefan’s and ages range from 11 to 23. Some of whom will undoubtedly become professional singers. Numerous singers under Stefan’s guidance have won international competitions as well as being accepted in Conservatoires in other countries such as UK USA & CANADA.

Bangkok Youth Opera is an important adjunct to the training of young singers. Voice lesson take place in the classroom but it is only weeks of staging rehearsals culminating in a performance in front of the public that prepares the student for a career onstage.

Alternative Learning Method

Have been studying singing for 10 years

DANIEL  NARDONE

My journey into classical music grew from a small participation a choir ensemble as a part of ISB's high school play back in 2016 called

'Amadeus.’ This play led to opportunities such as the participation in a school led music convention where I get to travel and sing in various  countries in South-East Asia. I began my intensive training of classical music two years ago with Stefan Sanchez.  I  played ‘Lukas’ in the school musical, 'The Addams Family', and  Tamino  in Mozart’s  'The Magic Flute'.

NEVAAN BAWA

I have always enjoyed singing but have taken it a bit more seriously in the past 3 years. I’ve been part of the school choir, which has developed  my interest in Western Classical Music. I’m also very passionate about musical theatre as I feel people can connect with it through the music and  acting.  It has been a joy to have been part of our school musicals like “Into the Woods”, where I played the Wolf, and then Lurch in “Addams Family.”
